Help applying for HUSKY
Connecticut's HUSKY program offers comprehensive health
coverage to one in five children and thousands of parents,
pregnant women and relatives caring for children. The program
covers doctor's visits, emergency care, hospital stays,
medicine, mental health, vision and dental care. Most families
pay nothing for their coverage, but costs are affordable for
everyone.
However, applying for HUSKY can be challenging. Filling out
the form and collecting documents can be confusing. Following up
on your application after you submit it can be frustrating. And
as of July 1st, all US citizens applying for HUSKY must provide
proof of citizenship and proof of identity.
We can help. Call us toll-free in CT at 1-888-873-4585 to see
if you qualify and to get help filling out the application,
collecting the documents you need, and following up to be sure
you are approved.
You can also come to one of our Community Outreach Events to
get help in-person. To find out about our next event, go to
