Health Resource Capacity Assessment for Danielson, Connecticut, June 2003IntroductionThe Northeast District Department of Health (NDDH) serves twelve rural communities in Northeastern Connecticut with data collection, analysis and health planning activities, among other responsibilities. A comprehensive assessment of the health care needs of the town of Putnam was conducted by NDDH in 2001. That assessment led to a series of formal and informal health initiatives that continue benefiting the community two years later.
