CT Health Policy Web Survey

Vote for your favorite among current proposals to cover Connecticut's uninsured

Currently, there are three proposals for universal health coverage being discussed at the Capitol. The concepts are in varying stages of development from general concepts to a prospectus for health plans. Choose your favorite among them or give us your idea. You can only vote once, and when you are done, you'll receive the results of voting to date.

Vote today - the survey will only be up until January 31, 2008. After that, the survey results will still be available.

Charter Oak Plan -- a private market-based model proposed by the Governor allowing uninsured residents to buy into HUSKY
Universal Primary Care - a public health-based concept proposed by Senate Democrats creating a system of primary care accessible to all residents
Insurance Pooling with Public Employees - a coverage-based, labor-centered model most recently promoted by the House Majority Leader merging Connecticut municipal and state employees into one large purchasing pool, using the larger pool as a platform to cover the uninsured at some point in the future
